Yoko is a PhD student in the field of Genetics, Genomics and Development and is co-advised by Andy Clark. She graduated from UC Davis in 2020 with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She is interested in looking at factors that may influence reproductive outcomes and fertility. She is focused on characterizing genes associated with exosome variation in the Drosophila male accessory gland. She is also interested in using a statistical modelling approach to assess the nature or impact of factors that may influence reproductive outcomes.
